Cameroon Commonwealth Scholarship Agency (CCSA)
Introduction
The commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) makes available to commonwealth member countries opportunities for its students to pursue advanced academic studies in commonwealth countries other than theirs. These offers are intended for both men and women of high intellectual capacity who are expected to make a significant contribution to their home countries after their studies abroad. begining in 1959, the plan has offered well over 21 000 students the opportunity ti study in over 21 different countries
Cameroon Commonwealth Scholarships are coordinated by the CCSA, Cameroon Commonwealth Scholarships Agency. This Agency received the first offer in 1998

Who Can Apply for commonwealth Scholarship
+ Be a Commonwealth citizen
+ Apply through your country's Commonwealth Agency
Deadlines
Each donor country indicates its deadline. CCSA also gives its internal deadline when publishing any offer. Application can be received from July to October every year
Selection
Selection of candidates by the CCSA is done by INTER-ministerial commission created for its purpose. The donor country does the final nominations
Engilsh Language Proficiency
- Candidates are expected to have a good mastery of english language
- Some offers require the candidates to sit for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) organised by the British council. The minimum required score for eligibility is 6/10
MBA Awards
- Candidates who wish to undertake an MBA degree (Includes commerce, Accounting, Finance etc) should undertake the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). The minimun acceptable score varies from University in the range of 550-600. Composition of Application File
+ hand written stamped application addressed to the Ministry of Hogher Education;
+ A commonwealth application from obtanaible from CCSA or MINESUP website;
+ Certified copy of birth certificate;
+ Certified copies of university transcripts and certificates covering all years (six copies each);
+ Certified copies of GCE "0" and "A" Levels and or Prob and Bac;
+ Certificate of Nationality;
+ Six recent passport size photos;
+ Six copies of each academic recommendation from three different academic referees;
+ Six copies of recommendations from professionnal referees (for workers only);
+ Authorisation letter from employer (for civil servants only);
+ A curriculum Vitae
